I organized and directed a mural project for Happy Paradise Daycare in Lewiston, Maine. 
I designed and mocked-up the mural specific to site details, communicated with the directors of the daycare, and received a grant for paints and other supplies.
This project was a volunteer community engaged activity that brought me closer to the community, and contributed a lively piece of art to a daycare center. This project was meaningful because of the contributions and input form the directors of the daycare (four refugee women from Angola), and  because I was able to contribute to my community in a profound way.
