In 2018 I painted portraits of  underrepresented female leaders from history
in comparison with imagined women leaders of the future. 

My concentration served as a reflection into the past to uncover some of the deception and lack of representation associated with female historical figures, yet it also serves as a hopeful look into the future in which women will have greater opportunities for leadership and will not be neglected for their accomplishments. Each piece is an 18in x 24in acrylic paint illustrative portrait.
